I’m glad you asked. I think space, the stars is…one of my favorite topics. Or at least, ones I think of a lot. It’s interesting how we’re all on a small place like this. In contrast of…everything and nothing, both out there. I’d like to think there’s alternate worlds out there, with me in it. Maybe I have a family, maybe I’m not so..quiet.

something I've been thinking about - is everything people make inspired by something? the idea of writing an actual fic was inspired by me telling a friend I want to write a oneshot about Jasper exploding, which turned into an actual plot after I watched a movie that inspired me to post some thoughts on twilight related topics on tumblr that then turned into a fic plot. and everything I write feels like little pieces of my life that have inspired me in some way - I put this line in because it's inspired by something funny I heard the other day, this piece of dialogue is inspired by song lyrics and so on. and some things are stuff I just want to say to the world that I've never had an opportunity to say to anyone. but even that must be inspired by something. sometimes I'm afraid that I'm just an imposter piecing together different aspects of my world, but maybe that's the way creating anything at all with your mind works?

I think I finally figured out why AI art irks me so much, on top of the various ethical questions associated with it...

To me, the value of art isn't just in the piece itself, it's also about the process of making it, the stress of "Am I doing this right?" and the satisfaction of realizing you are.

The context a piece was made in, and the state of mind of the author.

That isn't to say I would never enjoy AI generated art, I have! But it gives off this uncanny feeling, the kind you get from things like lab grown human cells. The feeling that there should be a person under there, but there's nothing; at least, nothing recognizable.

Forgiveness is not something that the person who wronged you has to earn; it is freely given. However, trust is something that must be earned, deserved, fought for and maintained.

When you trust someone you love, you hand them your heart. In betrayal, they break it. Forgiveness allows you to take what is yours back and liberates you to move on. But by giving them your trust back, you're handing them your heart all over agan; something they have proven to be irresponsible with.

At my core, I am a loving and compassionate person who wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for the people that I love. I feel this is one of my best qualities. That being said, God has been teaching me recently that the respect and care and consideration I give to those around me may not always be returned. Others may not care about me in the way I care about them. When I decide to put forth effort with someone, I give them everything; I give them my whole heart because I want them to feel the depth of my love for them.

I am learning that not everyone is deserving of all of me. In light of this new understanding, I will continue to embrace forgiveness and I will continue to be loving towards others, but I am no longer handing out my heart like it is nothing of value.

I am so tired of chasing and embracing people that would not and have not done the same for me. I am tired of not respecting myself enough to protect my heart. You want my love? You want my trust? Earn it.

It always bothers me when antis say things such as "larries are disrespectful because we should not assume anyone's sexuality." Like- we don't even do that. No one ever says Harry and Louis are definitely gay/bi etc. We only see the signaling and queer coding and speculate about their queerness. But it IS an assumption when you claim they are straight without them verbally confirming it. Why is it fine to assume someone's heterosexuality but not queerness? Why are we problematic for seeing whatever they themselves show us? Sorry for the rambling but it drives me mad how heteronormative and homophobic these people are.
